Problem

This Digital Marketing Specialist from Florida Came to us saying “I want to get a nice smile”.

Approach

After a couple of impressions, a full set of x rays, a photographic exam, and a general examination. We realized that we need to improve some aspects regarding color, gaps, tooth shape, missing teeth, smile shape, bite, and alignment to create a functional and harmonic smile. After meeting with our lab team we created a digital smile design to be used as a mock-up. Presented to the patient and he was happy with the proposal.

In cases where various aspects of the teeth must be improved, it’s usually better to go for crowns or bridges, which offer a much more flexible solution where color, form, and alignment are an issue.

Visit 1

We did the preparation and final impressions, temporary teeth were placed and we were able to evaluate the mock-up in the patient´s mouth. We made final decisions for the restorations.

One day later he had implant surgery to replace three missing teeth. Two days after the surgical procedure the patient returned home for two weeks wearing the temporary teeth that we gave him to test them and to allow proper healing process of the gums.

Visit 2

After a couple of weeks, he returned to our clinic to have the final restorations on natural teeth delivered. We did the esthetic try, to test final restorations.

The next day, we delivered the final restorations and tested the bite.

One day later, we tested the bite again and he was able to return home for six months and wait until the implants were ready to be restored.

With the aesthetic try approved, the lab team was ready to start working on the final pieces that would then be placed over the implants.

Visit 3

We did a connection surgery to be able to make final impressions for the crowns on the implants.

End

A few days later, the crowns for the implants were delivered and secured with screws. We did a final bite test and adjustments, gave him a mouthguard, and took final x rays and pictures

He is now very happy with his new smile.
