What would you like to know?
Meza Dental offers All-on-4® dental implants. The hybrid bridge is a screw-retained device, which is supported by just 4 dental implants and replaces the entire arch of teeth.
It is the most functional option and the result is as if they were natural teeth. It is a permanent solution that does not cover the palate and offers you up to 95% of the chewing capacity, compared to traditional dentures.
The choice of having one or the other relies on the amount of remaining bone mass, muscle strength, age, and budget. Six implants will provide better anchorage and durability than 4. But sometimes there is not sufficient bone structure to support 6 dental implants so the treatment needs to be on 4.
Why choose All-on-4 Implants?
- It can be done in just one day.
- Replace all teeth
- The feel and function are like natural teeth.
- Fixed and placed.
- Allow eating all the foods you want
- Preserves the jaw
- A long-term solution is the best value
What are the advantages of all-on-4 dental implants?
When patients come to our office, we have a procedure called a hybrid denture, commonly known as All on 4®.
This refers to removing all of a patient’s current natural teeth, replacing them with dental implants, and placing a fixed device over the implants screwed into place that won’t go in or out. It works, feels, and conforms very much to natural teeth.
After choosing this procedure, you will be able to eat and enjoy all the foods you like. You can bite into an apple, easily eat raw vegetables like salads, you can also enjoy meat. Many people enjoy corn on the cob which is also very easy to eat with a hybrid prosthesis. They are pretty and natural and patients absolutely enjoy having them.
If you currently have problems with your dentures or have missing teeth, All on 4® is what you need!
It is an excellent procedure for patients with full dentures or missing most or all of their teeth. Unfortunately, tooth loss is a common occurrence in adults. With dental implant technology, there is no need for discomfort or discomfort from dentures.
Opt for restitution with All-on-4® dental implants. With just 4 dental implants, all of the teeth in the upper or lower part of the mouth can be replaced. They will set and feel and work like natural teeth.
Do they take a long time to heal?
At Meza Dental, All 4® dental implants can transform your smile into something new in just a few visits. It is important for you to know that, although you may leave our office with a new smile achieved in one day, these mouth arches are only temporary. Implants (titanium screws) are surgically placed, which means that they require a healing period that must take place before they fully fuse in the jaw. We will inform you about the typical estimated time frame for each patient.
Over the years the materials used to restore these type of treatments has changed. The first generation used to be a metal framework seated on 4 implants and the teeth on top were acrylic. This method was good for the technology available but ended up needing a lot of repair work due to the low resistance of the materials.
The second generation was a metal framework covered with porcelain for better looks and strength, but porcelain used to chip off sometimes. The latest generation, thanks to digital dentistry, is the Zirconia structures. These are the strongest available today and the most natural-looking results.
Who can be a candidate for All-on-4® dental implants?
- Patients who have missing teeth or teeth in bad shape, and need to restore them fully on either the lower or the upper arch or on both at the same time.
- Patients who have enough bone to get the implants If not, first, they will have to get a bone graft done.
- Patients that have gotten their teeth extracted must wait 3-4 months before placing the implants. The bone and gums must heal before placing an implant.
- If all the conditions are ideal, patients can get teeth extracted, bone grafts done and implants placed during the same surgery.
